updates.

So, I guess I've slightly dipped my feet into the water of this place by now, if only slightly. Met some interesting people that I may see soon, or hope to. I may make use of the video chatroom, if I'm lucky, and possibly upload 'decent' photos (I'm still limited to my logitech webcam, which is better for things like skype, rather than still shots) in the near future.

As for goings on in my life, I've been reminded of the consequences associated with misplacing antidepressants for too long. On a lighter note, though I'm still a guest in my parents' home, reminded of how much control I allow them to have over my affairs (in my nature, perhaps), I'm at least going back into college now, taking some super-compressed courses over the sumer. Why does a half day of a normal high-school day seem so big in college? Maybe it's the fact that it's one class for that whole day. It's progress, at least. I've been having a horrid time getting myself together >.<

Brighter notes...brighter notes...I tried playing with airsoft guns and found it to be curiously...entertaining. A friend donated a mock colt to me, which I promptly named "Ai" and claimed as my own lovingly. It now sits on my nightstand with an acrylic paintjob on the handle. It's frustrating to ready the thing to fire (really busted up my nail attempting it the first time), but that's useful as a training tool. One of my friends (a pathological liar) happens to be a cheater, of course; but he gave me the gun, so I hold no grudges ^^

Two friends I had in high school took me to the mall, and let me try on girly clothes from hot-topic. I really wish I had my camera for that. I would put it on my phone, but that's a worthless risk. I'm hoping that I can do it again soon, and maybe get something new for my meager collection (which I shall promptly hide under the bed)
