About Me:
Personality
Rational
I am rational to the point that I have sometimes been called cold. Although in my own defense, I must say that I do not feel that is an entirely accurate assessment. Striving to be objective is most often something done to keep my own emotions in check so that I may deal with issues of importance without clouding them. Of course, this rarely works out quite as well as hoped.
Intelligent
I am generally considered to be very intelligent. This is of course difficult to say without seeming immodest, but I think this is an important enough part of who I am to warrant risking immodesty. I have a great love of learning and am curious almost to a fault. I have been lucky enough in my life to have had some truly outstanding mentors. I do, however, have a particular weakness with the written word so please forgive all the dyslexic typos.
Passionate
I have a great love of life and experience. I believe that life is best lived dynamically. I know what it is to love and be loved - I have been taught that by some of the truest friends in the world. I have tried to live my life by the following rule. "Our destinations must be chosen by our heart, but the path must be chosen by our mind." I believe that passion is in both the laugher and the tears that we experience in our lives. The times of peace allow us to learn from both. I would not trade the disquiet in my life for a life filled with only peace and harmony. It is the full measure of life that I hope to experience, and yes… typing those words does scare the hell out of me.
Loyal
I pride myself on being fiercely loyal. I hold myself to relatively few moral tenets, but I have great commitment to "honor personal trust". For me this is a double-edged sword. I expect a lot of the people I call friend, but I am willing to give a lot as well. This one trait probably brings the most pain and the most joy to my life. The closer someone is to me the more I am willing to give, and the more I expect - very often I find that I expect too much.
Adaptive
Neither experience nor intelligence are of any use if we do not go to the effort of employing them. I have made many mistakes in my life, both great ones and small ones. While I failed to recognize many of the small ones I have always held an intense commitment to learn from the great ones. I am often reminded that one of my greatest mistakes has been to failing to learn from the smallest of them. The great ones we pay a high price for, the small ones are a chance to learn before we must bear true cost.

Religious Beliefs
Agnostic - This is a bit of an oversimplification but it will have to do for now.
Political Beliefs
I am a great advocate of personal freedom and decentralization of power.
I believe that most governments are too restrictive.
I am generally not in favor of government run social programs, although I believe that there are circumstances where they are useful.
I believe that each person's life is their own and they should have the right to live it in anyway they see fit. That is up until it presents a physical danger to those I care about - then my feelings of loyalty for those I care about, overrides my concern for the freedom of those I do not know. I make no attempt to reconcile my views of loyalty with my political views. My political views apply in the abstract, but my views on loyalty always take precedence.
Lifestyle:
I have lived this lifestyle for approximately 25 years. I tend toward the far end of the continuum when it comes to D/s. I am looking for a 24/7 Master/slave relationship. This means I am looking for a relationship where final authority on all issues always rests with the Dominant. This includes work, home, clothing, finances, sexuality, everything. Because I enjoy having D/s as a principal element in day-to-day living I also expect fairly consistent use of various rituals and protocols. I also have a special interest in psychological training and conditioning of slaves.
However, having final authority does not mean making all the decisions all the time I have never met a Dominant who has quite that much energy, I know I certainly don't. It is my hope to find someone who is quite capable of undertaking complex projects on their own. I have often likened a good D/s relationship to the business example of a good worker and a good manager. As a team they can accomplish much more than either could on their own. I am looking for a slave, but the most important role of that slave is to be a life partner and companion.
What I Am Looking For:
I am looking for someone of remarkable caliber - Those with whom we spend our lives affect our growth. I wish not only to be a teacher and guide, but also to find a muse who will inspire me to learn and grow.
I am looking for a 24/7 slave, not a submissive. Such a relationship takes time to build, I am not interested in those looking only for play partners. I am looking for someone to share my life with.
I am also looking for the following qualities:
Fierce Loyalty - A promise is made for the times when you will not wish to keep it. It is only when we do not wish to honor a promise that we discover if we are willing to bear cost and discomfort of being honorable.
Self-knowledge - Only with an understanding of the self, can we influence the direction that we grow and change. Without this understanding, who we become is matter of fate rather than choice.
Cutting Intelligence - Because it is true, the unreflected life is not worth living. By having our lives reflected back to us by those with clarity, we are better able to appreciate our experiences.
Tenacity - As the Buddhist proverb says, "Fall down seven times, get up eight."
Attractiveness - I am human and I confess to giving weight to this quality. I am very fit and because of my active lifestyle I am limiting my search to those of no more than average weight/height ratio. I am willing to provide fitness training to those willing to learn.
