I do not believe that Sadism is natural to mankind. It is a learned trait, if you will. Something that is generally the product of great abuse or tragedy. Something that cut deeply enough that the pain itself becomes a pleasure in and of itself. There is no returning to not knowing, once we know. Once one has experienced the real beauty of pain they can then perceive that pain in others and empathise with them. Thus i state too that any great sadist must also be empathic as well. One can enjoy another’s pain, feeling the exhilaration of pain's infliction as well as empathetically sharing the pain of the submissive, who for their own reasons have chosen to be our natural pairing. If you think deeply enough about it, life is based on pain. You may not remember it but birth was painful twice. Once for you, and again for your mother simultaneously, how beautiful it is. Many of life’s early lessons are learned through pain. Physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual pain. Without it would we even be fully conscious and evolved beings?
As long as we have fear we can be controled. The fear of pain is the best motivator on the planet, but if we can learn to trancend the pain, then fear itself no longer has meaning. I can show you the door but you must walk through it. Selah |
