About to set off to Sheffield - Peer Rope

I have always enjoyed rope bondage. From the moment the kit bag opens - it starts. Putting the rope on is very much part of the play and though I rarely bother with 'pretty' bondage outside of demos and workshops, it can be a tantalizingly slow process. More than prep for play.

Although I have always enjoyed taking the rope off again recently this has developed into a major part of the play, sometimes left for some time later and often taking as long as the rest of the play. Slow, sensuous and erotic, and in contrast to the harshness of canes, sharps and blood it takes me into a different dimension and endorfin led responses.

All with an interest in rope are welcome. This is a free event but non-members of Caesars will need to take temporary membership of £2

Was I wise doing a self suspension workshop?  Swinging about suspended by one foot may be impressive - but better if the rope comes free at the moment you want it to rather than jamming :)

I'm not sure I dare go again.

Last month while I was there my son set fire to the oven and this month the toaster suffered a similar fate.

The microwave is looking decidedly nervous and the fridge freezer has asked if I go next month can it come with me.

So next month I may turn up, after Ive been to the chip shop, with 'sub zero'. That is if the mysterious disappearance of my eldest son goes unnoticed

I often get asked to do workshops and demos - mainly rope work and suspension. That's nice. I like attending them and I like doing them. I think workshops on all sorts of things are valuable and I always learn something.

I was asked to do 7 back in November and I'm often asked to do 3 or 4. I'm usually at a munch at the time or in a club whacking someone with a big stick and so I always say the same thing ... 'Certainly, but memo/email me the details so I can plan it around my kids weekends' etc. Then I often forget about it and get on with what ever I'm doing

Often there is no follow up. I assume therefore that it was just a passing thought and perhaps it will be followed up the next time we bump into each other.

Sometimes plans go ahead and I still haven't heard anything. The assumption seems to be made that I can be there.

Now as I say, I like workshops, and I'm pleased to be asked. I'll do it if I can and I dont want people to assume otherwise but please 'keep me in the loop' and drop me a line from time to time.

Another enjoyable trip to BBB Lots of friendly people and plenty to see.  The bacon sandwiches seem to have got smaller and I spent far too much money on toys. Ah well.

A change is as good as...you make it..               
Well I've just written a letter of resignation. Only the second time I've written one.
Strange feelings. The paper seemed especially blank and seemed to fill up very slowly.
Its a bit like walking into thin air after climbing to the top of a solid rock face where every hold was known and tested.
Can't see the new horizon yet but it'll be there, no doubt when I land.

The older I grow the more I recall how little I knew when I knew it all.
