How does one find a real person on a site like this?
I don't expect immediate servitude from anyone who identifies as a 'sub' or 'slave'. I live in the United States. We have a legacy of egalitarianism here. You are a whole person by yourself. I am a whole person by myself. I will not accept full submission until I am sure of the quality of the person submitting. To lower my standards lowers *MY* standards, and I have worked too hard and made too many sacrifices for my joy to squander it on the unworthy.
Likewise, I expect to prove myself as an honest and honorable person, a fast and loyal friend and a respected and skilled Dominant. In that order. If you find this to be the case and wish to get to know me better, please, by all means contact me. I am always happy to meet new people and make new friends. My relationships develop from my friendships, first.
I'm not looking for a sexual partner from this site. Not even really a play partner, either. Consideration:
What does 'consideration' mean? What does a collar mean, for that matter?
I have seen so many people sign on, sign up, be online for a few weeks or months, tops, and then be 'under consideration'. And, really, in all love and a fundamentally rooted sense of fairness and precision in definitions, I must say,
Do you even know what the FUCK that means?
A collar is, or should be, as permanent as a marriage. In fact, in today's society where half of all marriages end in divorce, a collar is a much MORE permanent commitment.
Which makes 'consideration' your engagement.
Now, really, in your vanilla life, did you go out and get engaged to the first person who makes puppy-dog eyes at you? But then you meet someone ONLINE and decide you're going to spend the rest of your life with them? Yeah, there's a name for people like that... Victims.
When I see someone who gives themself away on what appears to be a whim, or at best is a severely under-researched courtship, it makes me sick. I also loose a LOT of respect for the submissive who doesn't care enough about his or her own SELF WORTH than to yoke themselves to an untried and untested Dominant. And furthermore, it cheapens the concept of a collar and consideration for my own search.
And yet I see it, time and time again, and in people I care about, people I BROUGHT INTO the lifestyle... Don't be so desperate to be owned that you loose track of yourself, your own needs, your own fulfillment. Don't go roaming from owner to owner like some stray cat in an alley. Take the time to develop a relationship with a person who will be a part of your life for the rest of your life. It's much better that way.
Want to talk about the 'sanctity of marriage'? How about the 'sanctity of slavery'? I'm not going to own you just because you want me to, you've got to prove it, earn the right. And if you're worth me, I'll be worth you. |

I've been thinking about power exchange, and why it is one of my favorite and most visceral fetishes.
The way I look at it is, volition, free will, is the one truly fundamental freedom that each of us has. The right to make a choice on how to live our lives. To voluntarily give up that freedom, that gift, the most precious gift that you have to offer... You'd better make DAMN sure whoever you're giving it to is worth it. And on the other side, I've got to be DAMN sure I'm worth receiving it.
Alternately, accepting such responsibility is not a light matter either. If it were, I'd be a despot, a selfish tyrant, not a caring and responsible Dominant. If I'm going to accept that service, that submission, the person I accept it from better be DAMN sure a fundamentally sound and full person, not an aimless wanderer through life.
Bent, broken, incomplete or in progress I can deal with and accept. Being without a goal in life and a path to get there... not worth it, to me. No matter how hot you are.
