We all need to feel cherished. I am luck enough to feel very good about myself and cherish myself, which is what sets me apart from others, but, even I enjoy feeling cherished by another. It is part of what makes us human, frail and yet strong. I think if you feel cherished, you will go to all ends to please your Master, because you know he is pleased by you. The yin and yang of D/S and what makes the world of D/S revolve. Without, it is simply not D/S but a perverted possessiveness which degrades and damages the soul of the sub or slave.
