I believe BDSM is mostly about the mental, physical and social connnection you have with your submissive. Finding the right submissive is like vanilla dating and adding the BDSM dynamic into your relationship.

I guess Im on a tirade today, let me make something clear ( other than I cant spell claify today). I am looking for a RL relationship. Cyber is fine, Im even quite good at it ( dont believe me ?? I keep seeing journal entries asking , " Why is it soo hard to find the right person??". I think its because everyone is,looking for a custom fit in an off the rack world, no one want to spend the time or effort to get to know anyone, see through being a few inches too short or a few pounds over ( I said a few...lol) |

It seems to me that there is an issue with finding a real Alpha Dominant male. Leadership is a trait, like blue eyes or being tall. You either have it or you don't. Sure, leadership can be taught but its just sharpens the sword, give meaning and words to the urges and thoughts. Now management is taught, you can work at McDonalds and get GREAT management training. Things like time management, employee discipline, etc but you cant make anyone a good leader if the seed isn't there to begin with.
A true Alpha Dominant male ( or female ) doesn't have to prove a thing. They know that either you will accept them in a leadership role or you will not. If you don't, then you don't feel submissive to them.
I guess its just like real submission, its an instinct, an urge... not an option other than to who you feel submissive to. A true submissive has to feel protected, cared for and sheltered when she / he is with their Dom/me.
