'm a theatre lighting technician and used to define myself by just that: the job and life style that went along with it (moving around a lot, working from contract to contract with no real sense of belonging or community).
Right now I'm really in the midsts of changing how I work with my career so I can stay in the same area for more than a couple of weeks or months. I'm going more into my personal life and really reviving and improving the part of myself that is not all consumed by my theatre life. I'm trying to create a more balanced and well rounded me.
This means I'm looking more to myself than others at the moment, at least until I figure out some things in my life. On that note, I have just come back into town after not living here for about 8 years and would enjoy meeting some like minded friends and maybe more, you never know... |
