I have never really been into the servitude side of submission, my main kink is in objectification, dehumanisation, bondage. Being totally out of control and totally helpless are important factors.
I believe that ultimately, the true feeling of absolute hopelessness and loss of control can not be created in sessions...because in those you know at some stage your going to be free....true hopelessness can only come from an eventual 24/7/365 situation. I like torture too, not because I like pain - I don't!, but because I can't prevent torture when in bondage, so it highlights how helpless I am and how hopeless the situation is - the harder the torture the more this point is brought home to me. So, you can torture for as hard and long as you like really - not like a safeword would get me out of it ;)
