AP Test Prep: Chem + Calc AB

Let us help your student perform well on these challenging exams. We’re offering a review workshop the weekend before the exam. Workshops are taught by experienced tutors with firsthand experience.

The goal? To review content-area materials with an emphasis on making connections and unifying themes. We’ll help your student solidify what they’ve been learning all year.

The details:

  • 1 hour of content review (major concepts)

  • 30 minutes of test-taking strategies

  • 90 minutes of Q+A (including practice problems and error analysis)

SAT PREP
GRADEs 10-12 | $395

Classroom Matters' SAT Prep workshop offers an overview of the digital SAT. Students will review content, format, and test-taking strategies. This workshop is ideal for students who would like guided practice with the various question types on the exam, as well as coaching on effective test-taking strategies.

  • 15 hours of instruction time

  • Students will hone their reading and editing skills so they can conquer the writing, language, and essay sections.

  • Students will review the math section: going over systems of equations, arc lengths, complementary angle rules, radicals, etc.

  • Workshop includes one online practice test via ScoreSmart to help students set a baseline and to provide practice with the digital format.

(Minimum enrollment is 5 students, maximum is 15 students)

HSPT Prep
Grade: 8th | $525

Classroom Matters' High School Placement Test workshop is a comprehensive course that focuses on content-area review and test-taking strategies designed to help students achieve their desired test scores.

WHAT TO EXPECT:

  • 15 hours of instruction time

  • A comprehensive, student-friendly manual

  • Effective test-taking strategies

  • Experienced teachers who know how to work with different types of learners

  • Exposure to the test format and scoring procedures

  • Students will review and go over the question types on each section of the test: Verbal, Quantitative, Reading, Mathematics, and Language Skills

OPTIONAL:  

Classroom Matters has a partnership with Test Innovators to offer HSPT online practice exams. These are available as add-ons to the workshop.

  • 1 full test - $58

  • 2 full tests + 700 practice exercises - $175 

(Minimum enrollment is 5 students, maximum is 15 students; online maximum is 20 students)

Cancellation Policy + FEES

If you must cancel your registration, a refund (minus processing fees) will be provided if cancellation is made at least 4 weeks before the start of the class. Cancellation inside 4 weeks will be applied as a credit towards other Classroom Matters services. If the credits are applied to another workshop, a $10 change fee will apply. For all late registrations (after it has closed), a $20 fee will apply. Any cancellations that are within 4 days (96 hours) of the start of the workshop will incur a 50% cancellation fee.
