Literacy is a basic tool for living - it is essential to daily life, employment, citizenship, personal enjoyment, health and wellbeing.
CCPL was established in response to literacy as a serious social and economic issue in the Cariboo-Chilcotin. CCPL was formed in 1997 and incorporated in 2000 as a non-profit organization. |
Our members and staff are actively involved in promoting literacy by making presentations, delivering services, fundraising and participating in special events to raise public awareness around literacy issues.
