• Be sure to read and sign the waiver that was sent to you via email prior to arrival

• Plan to arrive at the resort 45 mins prior to your departure. You can check in at the

welcome wagon or Guest Services desk in Trailside Kitchen and Market (scheduled

to be open soon!)

• Life jackets will be supplied/available for all human passengers, as well as each

vessel has first aid, fire extinguisher and emergency whistle.

• Prior to Trailside Kitchen & Market’s opening, guests are welcome to bring their own food and drink on the boat. Post Trailside Kitchen & Market opening, all food and beverages must be bought on property with the exception of alcohol and special occasion desserts.

• Each Buzzy Boat has a mini fridge/cooler, Bluetooth speakers and GPS accessible

to passengers.

Please arrive at least 45 minutes prior to your reservation in order to check in (with your  ID) at the Welcome wagon outside of the main blue building of Keweenaw Waters Resort.

A maximum of 10 people and 2 dogs are allowed on the boat.

Buzzy Boats make boating fun and easy— no boating license or experience required. Our boats are very easy to operate, similar to driving a golf cart. The only requirement is the driver must be 21 years of age or older. The GPS on the boat will guide you where to go and not to go and alert you when you’re close to a boundary limit. Plus, we’re always here if you ever need us.

Aboard each Buzzy Boat there is limited space to store personal items so please pack accordingly, however they do have mini fridges that passengers may utilize for snacks and beverages.

• You may request a full refund for any cancellation request at least 48 hours prior to your Buzzy Boat reservation.

• For any cancellation requests received within 48 hours prior to your Buzzy Boat

reservation, you forfeit your chance to receive and voucher or a reschedule.

• A weekday Buzzy Boat reservation may only be rescheduled or rain checked for

another weekday Buzzy Boat reservation.

• All requests must be made by either emailing info@kw-resort.com or calling

906-299-9792.

• In the event that Keweenaw Waters Resort is compelled to cancel reservations owing to inclement weather or unforeseeable extenuating circumstances beyond their jurisdiction or control, per company policy and rental contract, money will be

refunded to the original payment method.

We offer optional insurance for $50 that covers boat damage during your excursion.
