Founded by two social scientists with a long history in the civil society sector, we bring research-grade methods — causal inference, natural language processing, large-scale data linkage — to the questions that matter most to the sector. Our work is underpinned by the UK Third and Civil Society Sector Database, the first comprehensive linked dataset covering charities, social enterprises, and community organisations across all four UK nations.
