We have been supported financially for the project “Design and Development of a Reconfigurable Swarming System Consisting of 500-1000 Drones for 3D Choreographed Drone Light Shows” under countable government funded schemes by the TDB. The I-Hub Foundation for Cobotics (IHFC) established with the task to ascertain the right kind of training, guidance, and necessary resources required by budding start-ups has also played a pivotal role in creating novel opportunities and avenues for us. The Foundation for Innovation and Technology Transfer (FITT) has encouraged and enabled our technoprenuership in orchestrating the Drone Light Shows that we so proudly host. Our start-up has been nurtured into the unprecedented drone innovators that we are today in and at IIT Delhi.

Drone light shows are a group of light drones that fly together to create animated designs or pictures in the sky. They can be seen from very far away, and are eco-friendly unlike fireworks, so are being used more and more in corporate, wedding and government celebrations in India and globally. 

A drone show looks like a luxury service, but is actually very affordable. The drone show cost depends primarily on the number of drones. Team travel, drone transport, logistics costs vary with location, making for negotiable and flexible pricing.

Drone shows begin from 100 drones and go up to 10,000 drones. Wedding drone shows typically use 100-500 drones, corporate drone shows 500-1500, and government shows between 700-5000. The number of drones depends on what story elements you want shown and how far you want it to be visible.

Drone light shows are an absolutely safe and expert-led alternative to fireworks and other aerial entertainment, provided the correct safety parameters are in place. BotLab follows all regulations governing drone shows, and carries out extensive testing in the days leading up to Show Day.

Earlier booking is better for major events to account for permits, logistical planning and extensive testing. However, we can take a show from idea to reality within 10 days or less.

Drone swarms are a coordinated group of drones that fly together. Drone swarming technology has civil and military applications. Drone light shows are the civilian application of drone swarming tech, which BotLab Dynamics has pioneered in India.

Yes, the defence arm of BotLab Dynamics - Vayudh, has developed lightweight nano drones with day and night vision for defense and security surveillance and reconnaissance. The Indian Navy is testing these drones for search, rescue, and monitoring infiltration routes.
