North Carolinians sustain a traumatic brain injury (TBI) annually. We estimate there are at least 200,000 North Carolinians living with long term disability due to TBI.

Connections are made by the Brain Injury Association of North Carolina each year, includingover 2,500 resource calls, emails, and face-to-face visits. We aim to reach individuals living with brain injury, families, and professionals with evidence based information and support.

People participate in our trainings each year. Trainings are available online, by webinar, in-person, or at our annual conference. Our trainings expand awareness about brain injury and ensure professionals have appropriate strategies to support survivors.
