About me

I am currently a 6th year Ph.D. student (graduating May 2026) studying on a research grant at North Dakota State University with Professor Jessica Striker.

I am happy to announce that I will  begin a postdoc position at Okinawa Institute for Science and Technology in the Algebraic Combinatorics and Fundamental Physics Unit as of October 2026.

My various research interests include objects such as: web-bases, plane partitions, flag varieties, face rings of certain topological objects such as CW-complexes and simplicial complexes. I have also worked with understanding dynamics on many sets of objects through the cyclic sieving phenomenon.

Previously, I was a graduate student at University of California, Davis where I primarily worked with equivariant versions of Stanley-Reisner rings. I also spent a semester at the Max Plank Institute for Mathematics in Bonn with Professor Motohico Mulase studying ribbon graphs.

Before entering into mathematics, I was an opera singer studying in Berlin with Professor Norma Sharp, Hanns-Eisler Musik Hochschule.

I am a 2020 National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellow.

I am also a founder and organizer of the Combinatorics Online Community Discord server (formerly, the Online Graduate Students in Combinatorics Discord server) - an online community of over 600 mathematicians. Please reach out for an invitation link if you are interested in joining.
