About the author

Francis Ridge was 52 years old and a 30-year veteran of UFO investigation when he wrote his first book in 1994. UFO sightings had waned and he was ready to "retire". But the computer age and instant communication with emails and the internet changed all that. His UFO career exploded into 30 more years of activity he never dreamed of. He created the NICAP web site, the Nuclear Connection Project, and the Lunascan Project, all before the new century had started. But the work had really just started.
He set up a 30-man A-Team and they documented thousands of the best UFO reports, over 500 radar cases, plus hundreds of sightings from aircraft. He updated the old NICAP sighting chronologies and created new ones from 1964 on up to the present, including ALL of the Project Blue Book UNKNOWNS from 1947-1969. He documented the key nuclear connection cases, in particular the missile shutdowns. In the process of all this the key to the "visitations" became clearer and the direct link between sightings and the threat of a devastating nuclear catastrophe began before Roswell, during the Korean War, the Vietnam War and even showed up during the Arab Israeli conflicts, which had the potential of drawing in the super powers.
And there has been some major updates: 1) Roswell has some real surprises. 2) Captain Thomas Mantell died during an active UFO situation and there were two UFOs. 3) The MADAR Project was upgraded to 140 sites all over the world and some major finds have already been documented.
Long before the Pentagon announced that UAP were real in June of 2021, Ridge and others like him knew that SOME UFOs were somebody else's craft. We are not alone!
In 2016 his team found something in NASA images on the back side of the moon that made them sit up and take notice. What they found may indicate somebody was there as recent as a few thousand years ago, or may still be there.
It was time to do another book. CAP POINT is a 300-page book that is a must-read.
