2026 AISES in Canada National Gathering
Illuminating Indigenous Futures

Jenny Blackbird (nehiyaw and Finnish-Canadian) is a multi-disciplinary artist, hand drummer/singer, and community auntie with a Master of Education from York University. Her watercolor and ink graphic illustrates a buffalo leaping over green grass under radiant sun rays, symbolizing how Indigenous brilliance and education illuminate vibrant futures.
Attendees from across Canada and the United States are expected to attend the three-day event.
Registration is $125 CAD for Students and $275 CAD for Professionals.
