Alameda County Wins ICE Free Zones

Championed by Supervisor Nikki Fortunato Bas, Alameda County unanimously voted to bar ICE agents from using county property for operations, surveillance, or detentions, the first comprehensive "ICE-free zone" policy of its kind in the Bay Area. This is a direct result ACCE members, our allies, and the community at large showing up and demanding that local government protect its residents.

Richmond and LA Win Code Enforcement Victories

After years of organizing, direct action, and public pressure, ACCE won landmark code enforcement victories in both Richmond and Los Angeles — forcing landlords to finally be held accountable for the conditions their tenants live in. In Richmond, the city overhauled its entire housing inspection system with mandatory routine inspections, while LA expanded tenant protections and habitability requirements.

Support ACCE Action

ACCE strives to be a self-sufficient organization, independent from funding from the government or corporations in order to allow us to be accountable to our members and take action when needed in our communities. To keep the work going, we depend on our members and donors who contribute regularly to support our work. Will you make a contribution to support ACCE Action's continued organizing?
