Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) is an assessment process within the Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF) that evaluates an individual's existing competencies — gained through formal education, workplace training, professional development, volunteer work, or life experience — against the requirements of a nationally recognised qualification. RPL enables eligible candidates to receive formal credentials, from Certificate II through to Graduate Diploma, without repeating learning they have already demonstrated. 3CIR, established in 2016 as a veteran-owned RPL specialist, delivers training and assessment under a third-party arrangement with Asset College RTO #31718.
