Holy crap, right!? Yup, I'm still somehow around.

Honestly contemplating maybe coming back to write stuff here instead of the two microblogging sites I sometimes post to. Twitter is garbage now, and Bluesky has been nice to keep up with folks, but sometimes it's nice to write more than a tidbit here and there.

The biggest issue I have with this site seems to be while reading though my friends page you can only go back so far, so a lot can get missed.

Anyway, since my last post, I've gotten a new house and bought a used RV! This will be my second year with the RV. I got a really good deal on it and was glad I was able to purchase from auction! I moved into my new house early 2022 during covid (of all times) but hey, locked into a good 3% rate so that kinda made it worth it!

Two years after moving here I lost my best friend, Kody. He was 12 and a half years old. I've had a lot of dogs thoughout my life thus far, but I've never had one as special as him. He truly was the good boy. I know I'll never find another like him. I miss him tremendously.

Beginning part of this year I went to my first winter cabin campout! It got down to -20 degrees, haha. Super cold! Even in suit it was pretty darn cold! picture looks nice weather, but it was super bitter out.

I still do production on the side along with Lasers and two-way radios. sometimes I miss doing shows full time, but really, that's a tough life with all the travel. Certainly, got that out of my system back in the day!

Well Its been a number of years. I Just decided to log in and check this place out. -Feeling kind of nostalgic lately and missing old friends on here. As for me, I'm still around and kicking. Many things have changed over the years and infact I'm looking to begin a new chapter in life with the purchase of a new house. Not sure when the next time I'll be posting here will be but I'm playing around with the idea of using this platform to document and discuss my new home automation and projects adventure. Time till tell.

I've been up in arms on whither I should publicly write about this or not, but being that this is a life event, I figured I should share with the people I know which may have an interest.

Growing up, while in grade school I was very fortunate to have someone who I considered to be "My best friend" Looking back, we had an even closer friendship than I realized at the time (more like a brother), but being young sometimes you don't appreciate things the way you should. I had the Honor of knowing this person, Who from this point on I'll call KT for around four years before moving from Minneapolis MN to Grand Rapids MN. -About 170 miles away. Nothing earth shattering but being young, and not having internet the way people really do now, we kinda lost touch. Phone calls were long distance. The few times I came back to the cities, Mom brought me to see him, and in fact he even spent the night where we were staying while visiting. It was good to see my friend :) -Well, not long after we were up to visit again, the number I had for him didn't work anymore. I'm not sure what my mom did to find out, but she found that they had moved. I had no way to contact him anymore. From that point on I had never not thought about him, where he might be, what he's doing, etc. Fast forward a handful of years. I'm still searching for him every once in a while. We had made a pact that we would always look out for each other and somehow find each other if we ever lost contact. (young kids, heh) I always wondered if he thought about me or not. I thought of him. In fact, I had many restless nights sometimes thinking of him. Many times I thought that maybe I was taking a promise made between a couple of twelve year old kids too seriously. Either way I continued to look. I knew someday I would find him and somehow get back in touch, reminisce about the old days and the stuff we use to do as kids. Sometimes I would get so excited I couldn't stand not knowing where he was. I just simply couldn't wait. Fast forward 23 years and some change. All the way to yesterday. I couldn't sleep again. Up almost all night thinking of this, that, and the other. I finally decided to do another search. Last name shows a ton of people. First name, nothing. -except, I found a name that matched his brother's name. Upon digging more I found that it was very likely his brother! Everything was matching up! This was unprecedented! My first solid hit! -I found his brother's Facebook page and actually found a folder called old pics, and guess who's in there! My friend! -At least it looks like him, but older than I remember! --Then my heart Sank. Its literately like I got punched in the chest. Upon reading the comments: "Our fallen brother man u were taken from us to early, may you be waiting on the beaches of heaven for us when we get there!!!!!!!" was the one in particular that caught me. To date, I contacted someone who commented, and have confirmed 100% that it is in fact KT. I don't have details on what happened, and I hope they reply back. It appears that he never made it though High School. A young death. Still, as I type this I feel completely blindsided. For years I have looked forward to being reunited but I guess it wasn't meant to be. Yet again I find myself in the position to where I have many unspoken words that can't be conveyed to the person that they are intended. I can't tell you how much I hate this feeling.

If you made it thus far, Thanks for the time :) I'm alright, but I'd be lying if I said I didn't cry for a while that night. Its not often at all that I cry, but this was just too much this time. I'll likely make this private, or at least "friend protect" the entry later on. -I just have it public now since I had a handful of people interested in what was going on after I made a remark about this on twitter, which I can't thank enough *hugs* -I realize many people don't have LJ anymore so for now, public entry is public.

Rest in peace, KT.

UPDATE:
Just got this info:

I've since found out where exactly he lived, when it happened, and what cemetery plot he is located in. (Mountain View Cemetery Mesa, Arizona, United States) I was even able to find a picture of his stone, thanks to an online repository. Its nice to finally have the closure after all these years. Who knows why he felt he needed to do this. In the end, it really doesn't matter if I know or not. It just upsets me that I wasn't able to talk with him about what might of been going on and help him though whatever it was. I'm sure there are plenty of people who feel this way though. If I'm ever in the AZ area, I'd love to go and pay my tribute.

Alright, so its update time!

As seems to be the norm, I just don't update weekly like I use to. I probably should, but I don't. With that said, some of the stuff going on with me lately:
(Some of this might be redundant, so I apologize if you've seen it elsewhere)

Work has been good and reliable. -I no longer really stress out about random production events like I use to. While I defiantly have no issues managing events and tours, the new work and change of pace has been nice. I didn't realize how stressful managing multiple events at any single given time really was. The very last event I have done officially for LPI was the Chrysler shoot (commercial) as Lighting effects director -right under the DP (Director of photography) (I shot some behind the scenes video if you anybody is interested. it can be seen here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TepCJpVj72A) Anyway, I miss the excitement sometimes but I've been surviving just fine all the same, haha! -I probably need to find some small pet projects/events to get involved with since that scene really is my passion and I do miss it at times. -Production will always be in my heart.

As for my sound/production/ business... I haven't been marketing it AT ALL. I really feel that I need to get a few things in order to properly run it as a serious business. Once all the internal alignment is complete I'll likely do a few "freebie" events to ensure everything is up to par before trying to bid on bigger events. In fact, this weekend I need to take a trip down to IL and run Catfish Days in Wilmington IL. This year however I will not be supplying my gear. This is partly because of a foot injury I have, and partly because I am trying to phase out my relationship it LPI. It just happens that this time they twisted my arm and want me solely as a consultant to run the event and ensure everything goes as planed. -I have a good relationship with the city and Mayor, as such they were ultimately the ones that requested I head up the project for this year. Its kind of nice because none of my gear is there. I'm just giving people direction. It pays pretty good too. For the weekend I'll be gone it will pay more than I make in a week and my day job, and I'm taking PTO at the day job so that's hard to pass up!

Other stuff. Well, my truck shitcaned its transmission the beginning part of this year, so I needed a new one... Sucks, but what do ya do. Also for the past, jeez, almost year I've been dealing with a case of Plantar Fasciitis in the heel of my foot. (wiki; http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Plantar_fasciitis) I finally gotten tired of it so I took steps to try and get rid of it and start the healing process. -Basically it involved a night splint, some super support insoles, and a new spiffy pair of Nike Shoes to put insoles into. -Turns out that the DC and Osiris skate shoes I often wear have been inhibiting the damn thing from healing properly. I'm also doing some of the stretch exercises listed in the Wiki. Suffice to say, this entire weekend I haven't been in pain whatsoever. Its great! I'm hoping I can get this healed by MFF time because I REALLY wanna suit but my current feetpaws (on both suites) don't really have the support I need to not be in pain. So unless I make new feets (or have someone make them) I'm kinda SOL :P -But hopefully by then this can get turned around, so I don't think it'll be an issue. So lesson learn't: Don't even tear or rip your Planter Fascia. Recovery is long, and it HURTS! -Not only that but because I haven't been active, I've gained weight I'd like to get back off.

Kody (my puppy) has been doing really well now too! -For a while he was having some serious issues with his hind legs, and as it turns out the "First Sheld Trio" he was using to repel ticks and fleas was interfering with his nervous system. Since being taken off the medication, he's slowly getting a lot better! -infact, his 1st birthday was in June -Heres a pic! So its been a while since I've really written an update on Kody. His blog is still up and updated fairly often (or as often as I can) but I have something I wanna share on here that involves trying to trick Kody with my fursuit ;)

The basic idea was this:

Kody was up north with my Mom and Aunt. Well, I decided to go up to the good `ol cabin for the weekend (its been about three weeks since I've seen Kody at this point) Anyway, I told them I was coming and they made sure not to be there. I snuck in, setup some cameras, put my fursuit head and hands on (in hope to trick Kody into not knowing it was me) and just stayed there until they came home. I figured that He'd just casually find me and not know what to make of the situation, finding a giant plushy like thing in the computer room :P Weeeeell. It didn't quite go like that. -Turns out Kody could be a drug sniffing dog, haha.

Without wasting more time, I'll just let you guys watch and see what happened. I had to abort the video and cut it short, you'll see why :P

Wow.. So it's been forever since I've posted.. It's been so long that people started to email me to see if I was okay. -sorry about that! -though its humbling to know people still think of me from time to time <3

I haven't really been up to much lately, really. I did incur one major life change while away from posting though, and that is my new pup, Kody! -I started a tumblr account for him to document his growing up and life :3 -it can be found at KodyDaHusky.tumblr.com I named him after old Cody since he seems to kind of follow in his footsteps in regards to his manors :P Currently he is 3 months old and is a pretty cool dog. He know sit, leave it, high five, handshake, patty cake, and down. He's learning so very fast... It's just. Unreal. But anyway, yeah, check out the link above. It has more pics of him and will be updated on a somewhat often basis since I can post stuff on the fly when working with him.

In other, more personal news, as most people know on here I've pretty much fell back into my old reclusive ways. Life has been pretty boring and empty as of late. I often find myself sitting alone asking myself "what the hell am I doing" which the answer is pretty much the same as its always been, nothing. :P I've been thinking about joining the local "singles" club thing here in the cities to try and meet someone but have been very hesitant of actually following though with it even though a few times I've found myself in the parking lot before a few of the events. I'm not sure if I'll ever follow through or not but I suppose time will tell.

So who all saw the eclipse the other day? -Luckily I was able to! Unfortunately the spot I picked turned out to not be so great and by the time I found a new spot (due to the sun setting) I was able to shoot this picture:

I also just realized that I haven't posted anything since Corecon. I honestly don't know how to express how awesome corecon was. It was three days (and not not at the con) hanging out and surrounded with awesome friends. -Group shot below :3

Okay, so I know I said I would post something with some structure on my last post, but this is more important to me at the moment :)

I'd like to get address updates for you guys! Last Christmas I realized how F'ed up my database was for contacts. I've taken the time to rebuild something that will work with my Dymo label printer to help get stuff in order when the rush comes in! Its like. Automated. And stuff! -These computers and pretty darn crazy, I say!

But yeah, thought I'd get a good jump on this and gather early since I know its gonna take time to complete. Even if I have your address, it'd be really awesome if I could get an update from you guys. This way I don't haveta question if the address is current or not! Oh wow.. Its been a while since I've posted! Crap time flys!

Alright, I should probably just go with a random picture post (from twitter) and then expand from there :P

I'll be posting another journal later on explaing more with whats been going on with me (will likely be friends only) -so stay tuned :)

I'm not sure if I've talked about it on here (bad memory) but I've been working on rebuilding and pimping out
my production trailer. -In this pic I've replaced all the inside wood. I plan to install "speaker carpet" on the walls
and then place E-Track all the way around. I'll also be cating the floor with epoxy paint.

In this pic you can see the lights I have installed and the rooftop AC/HEAT unit (for when this thing is not being used
as a hauler, but rather a portable workspace) -Or heey, a fursuit changing room for outdoor events, haha.. lol.

was done! (thank god!)

This was just a random pic I took while fixing the breaks on the trailer (yes, it has four breaks dedicated to the
trailer for all my stoping needs!)

Just a random clutter mess while I was re wireing everything (and installing the breakaway system) The breakaway
system will engage the breaks in the event the trailer (god forbid) comes off the truck while in motion. You can
also see that I removed the old piece of shit trailer jack though you can't see the new one I replaced it with as I
mounted it on the other side of the frame.

This pic was taken at night and before I really completed it but here is the APU generator that is mounted outside
on the frame of the trailer. Its enough to run lights, AC, and up to 2000 watts of extra stuff! (mobile video gear, PC's,
or whatever I need -production or not. It will run for 7 hours with the tank it has at half load. I'm planing on added a secondary tank under the trailer (hopefully a 15gal) that will should run everything for at least 20hr's. this is a pretty quiet gen set for it being open frame.

I dressed up the truck not too long ago. -Mostly to hide a few problems I didn't wanna deal with :P It looks okay but
when I ordered the wheel covers I thought they would be smaller then they were. I might change
them sometime in the future. I guess it depends on how much it bothers me or if I can get use to it.

I picked up a new computer case for my editing rig not too long ago and transfered the "guts" into this new one. I like it but shit, it was much bigger than I thought it would be... It should be set for quite some time before another upgrade is needed.

Its a pretty dead day already so I'm gonna make a post!

So this last weekend I went up north to visit my Mom and Aunt.. It was a nice trip :) Nothing much really to report, just a few nice nights visiting. We did go to the local boat show and I drooled over a few items :P I don't want anything fancy, but I think it would be really cool to get a nice pontoon to chill out on the lake with. -I love evenings/nights on the lake :3

The week before my trip up north I helped my buddy John replace the fuse panel in his house. Lemme tell ya.. What a mess. I'm glad I was able to help him out. It end up being a bigger job than I thought it would be, but still got it done in an evening, after work. I end up pulling his meter and replacing all the main feeder line since the old stuff was scorched. :/ (bad main breaker with a LOT of thermal issues)

After pic. -This was before I finished it completely. -we were short
a few breakers so I had to stretch a few lines to another circuit
temporary. Overall Not my best work, due to what I had to work
with but its at least safe, reliable, and up to code now.

Other than that, not much going on in the next week or so. I just have my Nephews birthday party to attend. I'm not sure what to get him :/ Besides that I might take some time out to finish working on my utility trailer. -It's come a long way! I have a generator mounted on the front of it finally, lights on the inside, and even small speakers mounted within it. -I can't remember if Ive mentioned it on LJ or not but I'm trying to dual purpose this thing as both a hauling trailer and a camping trailer. The last big expense for this project is the AC/heater I wanna put on it (rooftop unit) I found a supplier on Ebay that has them and I found the one I want: **LINK** I hope to have this complete by this summer! it would be nice to give this whole thing a try! -I'll discuss more in a later post!

Time for a journal update, it looks like!

I'll probably just do another bullet form update since those keep me on task and don't allow me to babble.

1-A)FIRST THING FIRST. Anyone who has my cell number (the ###-8455 number) It will NO LONGER accept text messages after this next week. I am porting it into a new mobile-land-line (to be used on a IP phone server) Phone calls will still forward to my new cell phone. The difference is that text messages will NOT. PLEASE let me know if you want my new iPhone number for texting. -I'll make it happen! *chuckle*! -even if we don't chat much, it could come in handy if at a con or someplace.. Never know!

Anyway-----

1) Truck got fixed. turns out it was only two phasers making all that noise. (they are hydraulic and control the variable timing on the CAM) So yeah, not as big a deal as it was thought to be. -Still would of been a few grand to fix if ti wasn't for the warranty, so I'm thankful for that!

2) Got my PC up and running again. With tons of tweaking and overclocking I was able to pull off a 7.9 PC rating! LOL! Its been running that way since I reinstalled it, and so far hasn't been a problem. -I moved to two solid state Intel SSD drives for the OS. (screenshot of the rating below -pic or it didn't happen, right?)

3) Speaking of computers, turns out I'm pretty much a geek I guess. I was playing with Visio and decided to draw up my home network (just to learn/play with Visio) Once I started to get everything in the program, I realized that my home network is CRAZY. There are some new additions due to the new Asterisk server that enables me to get my (new) IP phones up and running. It just looks kinda crazy on paper. All this stuff fits on my desk but within Visio it looks like an enterprise system, lol! Part of the reason for having this kind of network at home is for learning. Its basically just a project lab kit that helps me gain knowledge. And of course, the secondary reason is that I do actually use the functionality of this stuff in my day to day operations. (like the phones -I don't /need/ an Asterisk server, but in the long run it helps me learn and saves me monneh! (so I can buy ~~cookehs~~ ~~fursuits~~ steaks)

4) The diet has been going fairly well. -I'm still losing, just fairly slowly (slower than I want to) since I'm not exactly in a rush it doesn't bother me too much as far as losing slowly, but as time goes on I really REALLY despise my current weight. I know it may seem silly, but I'm sure the reason as to why I'm still single is basically because of low self esteem. I just can't seem to pull that together. I can be on top of everything, but I've just fallen into this rut when it comes to believing in myself like I use to. -On the up side of things, I've been feeling really great! My stomach hasn't been giving me any problems anymore, acid reflux is basically gone, cholesterol is under control naturally, etc, etc. -Most importantly the lower GI problems I had last year are all but gone. I'm thankful of the progress I've made, and I certainly recognize the progress and am very please with it. I guess in a nutshell I'm just a little disappointed in myself that I haven't been staying on task when it comes to doing what I'm suppose to be doing. -I haven't been going on my lunch break walks lately at work, didn't join a gym yet, and haven't even been doing the exercises I use to do all every day last year to help build/tone my upper body. Its something I need to work on, big time. -Actually, I can't wait for summer. I REALLY miss going on my bike rides. But yeah, in a nutshell I *AM* happy with the progress, I just need to work on making a few things better. Hell, maybe some day I'll gain my self confidence back :P -It's better than it was, at least!...

So I've been pretty quite lately.. Not really any reason. Just been keeping busy with things and not really being around the house.

I'll tell ya, I'm ready for this week to be over! It hasn't been a bad week or anything, just kind of a long week :P Anyway, gonna try to summarize things a tad to try from making a giant wall of text.

1) Luckily I have a warranty for my truck. It started to develop a low end engine noise. Brought it to the dealer today and they agree something is up. They start the engine tear down tomorrow. Once they find the problem they are going to add everything up and find the cutoff price. If this job goes over the cutoff, I get a new engine. -Personally, I hope my engine is screwed. I'd be awesome to get a new engine :P

2) Laptop had a virus on it.. Had to format the damn thing and reinstall. desktop PC could use a refresh as well. If I /do/ refresh the desktop I wanna get two SSD drives for the boot raid. -We'll see what I decide come the weekend (online shopping) until my desktop is good I don't plan on doing much online at the moment.

3) I had two bestbuy gift cards from a recall they did on my old iPhone case/battery. with that money I bought a kindle fire. NO REGRETS!

4) Teekon will be getting a body suit. I still need to figure out what to do with him color wise, but it will be simple. I need to match his fur and then get back to Zay so we can discuss further :) -I'd also like to get his nose replaced/fixed. I need to find someone who makes/sells noses.

5) After I decide something I usually don't change my mind, Buuuut... After thinking about it rationally I've decided that I will be keeping my name. Its pretty much grown on me and changing a name to change my character design is kinda dumb. With that said, there will be a Wulfsige 3.0 -Absolutely no plans on a Wulfsige 3.0 suit. I love mine to much to change anything that far!

6) On the laser front: I'll take pictures once I get things ironed out but I have a minor design change to make before I finish RGB project up. for now, that project is on hold until I find the time and space to mess with it.

Eairly Week Update

So I'm a little late in posting, but just thought I'd though an update out :)

Last weekend I drove over to Madison WI and spent some time with jairus_greywolf! As always, I had a blast! We end up mostly BSing and playing around with lasers :P As such I was able to get one of my high power systems over mechanical built! It took me a little longer to do than I though tit would, which I kinda felt bad about because I wanted to spend time showing him some some shows but what-doyado. Too many unforeseen things took too much time. -Not like I was on 100% task anyway, hehe! -But anyway, its always awesome catching up with my brother wolf. Its too bad ya live sooo far away! -even so, the drive isn't bad, just can't make it out as much as I'd like to.

Today went by pretty quick. I moved to a new building at work today, which was interesting. It'll be a strange change of pace being in an open area like I am. (might take a quick pic when I think of it) I kinda like the new space, but man, the desk and working space is even smaller than I had realized which should make work interesting. If that's my only complaint, I'm doing good! which it is, so whatever, hehe! I'm just thankful to have the position, so any bumps that come up can be taken in stride :)

Umm, what else. OH, one of my new tires has a slow leak in it! DAMNIT! gotta take that in to Tires Plus sometime before my trip this weekend. Its getting pretty annoying having to fill it up every week :/

My diet is back on track. With new adjustments I'm averaging about 8 ounces a day, which adds up by the time the week is over ^^ I think that's a pretty good rate so I'm not going to try and shoot for more. A current chart will follow sometime this week (or perhaps weekend if the week gets busy)

Last thing on my list is that I decided to participate in the STOP SOPA act tomorrow with four of my websites. An example of what it looks like is here: http://wulfsige.com I know most of my sites don't have a lot of traffic (wulfsige.com has a surprising amount of traffic, actually) but even so, its important and I thought I'd join in and "strike" So yeah.. My websites are already "dark" because I don't plan on being up until midnight to change the redirects. In fact, I wanna take a shower and go to bed after I submit this journal! haha!

Welp its Friday!

I got into work early today so I can leave early. I twas kinda weird coming in this early. Light everyplace were off, lol.. I was half expecting the alarm to go off when I opened the door to darkness, lol!

ANYWAY, Hope all those that are going to FC have a awesome time! I hope sometime to make it out there myself! It sounds like a really fun con! Some day! *nods*

So at around 2pm I'll start the trek down to Madison WI to go bother jairus_greywolf and see what kind of ~~trouble we can get into throughout the weekend~~. -actually, no. There will be no trouble. DOGS get in trouble. Wolves do what we want, and that's what we're gonna do! I'm bringing some lasers, a computer for playback to test/watch shows, etc, etc. Pretty much a laser geek-out weekend :P

As far as my diet goes I somehow I stalled my metabolism a tad so I need to reset the process. I'm not 100% sure where I went wrong but I'm just gonna start from step one and try over again. I tried to do too many things different at once and changed my known "good" routine to something that was different and unknown to try and speed up the process. Apparently I passed diminishing returns and just stalled it all together. -Not enough calories while working out is gonna be my guess. So anyway, no real update on that until I can get my ketone levels back up and stabilized. (next week, likely) Its kind of a bummer though. I was off to a great start until I messed it up! Oh well! -Still doing better than I was!

Anyway, time to get back to work! TTYL!

So Its time for a weekly post! not much really going on this week... Mostly just work and then sleeping once I get home, haha.. Don't know why I've been so tired lately. On Wednesday and Thursday I decided to workout a bit.. I did a fast walk on Wednesday for about two miles and then did a run/jog on Thursday. I can't believe how hard that was :/ granted its been forever since I've ran, but shit I'm outta shape :/ So ANYWAY, hopefully I'll be able to work up to a normal daily 2 mile jog over a certain set time... just gotta condition for it.

I was also able to find a local hobby store like 1.5 miles from my house! -and they sell my helicopter parts! So this evening I spent time rebuilding that thing. all in all it was $58 for a new tail assembly (with new motor) and all new blades and a few upgrades. Not too shabby! -I even brought the thing in and had them test fly it after I rebuilt it since they are MUCH more experienced then I am when it comes to piloting this very SMALL helicopter.. I think my problem is that the mass of this thing is so small that I over compensate the controls. -I should just go get another big one and call it quits with the learning small heli's...

For reference, this is a video of the copter model in action and what it can do (piloted by someone A LOT better than me!)

The last thing I need to do is post my diet status. I'm in day 42 according to the chart, and am on track!

the steep dip in the graph is from "no data" but yeah, nice downward curve stopping at 19! Looks like I'm picking up right where I left off! *thanks god* -current goal is to get down to "0" on the chart :) -I've projected this to be around day 81-85. We'll see how close I am!

New years changes.

Alright, Its been a while so I might as well dig into this :P

I am going to try my best to get into some new years resolutions! I suppose I should start of with saying that 2011 has brought me a number of life changing events. The Most notable is that I have a new job, and no longer work in production. Its true I'll miss producing events but as far as the actual work (last place of employment) goes, I have yet to miss it and I don't see missing it anytime soon. I still have all my sound, video, lighting, and lasers. I will always be involved with production in some way shape or form as its my true passion and I don't see moving away from it ever. -That being said, I want to keep it a hobby and not a day Job. Honestly, I don't know what the long term future holds for me, but I can say I'm completely content with doing what I'm currently doing :)

So anyway, with that said, I want to bullet-form my goals for this year.

Use LJ more. -I have really gotten away from this. Its important that I continue to use a journal.
Get some high power laser projectors built for side projects (and general fun)
Rekindle old and new friendships. -Ive grown to distant.
Get debt taken care of this year, look for ~~new~~ house. -I really want to try and make this happen.
Possibly start looking into a relationship. (single life is too lonely. I'm tired of being alone)
Finish losing my extra weight and exercise at least a few times a week.
Distance myself from dwelling on negative emotions/feelings.
Try to be more open, stop being recluse. (old dog, new tricks? Its hard, but doable)
New fursona**

I'm sure that last one was kinda like a "WAT?" when you read it, so I'll extrapolate. I feel that with everything that has happened in past years, and with all that I want to change now and in the future, it seemed fitting to make the transition from Wulfsige to someone else as I'm working on being someone else. A better person. I still intend to obviously keep Wulfsige as one of my characters, but really just as a fursuit and not as an actual "main fursona" I've grown out of what, at that time, he represented to me. Its time to move on and grow. Besides, I love my suit way too much to get rid of it! So with that said, There will NOT be a Wulfsige 3.0 -More news on the "new me" once I'm ready to share :) For now, there are a lot of things that need to be figured out with him. He's far from finished. Not only that, the waiting list for new suits are usually at least a year, so this isn't going to be a fast transition. This is just something I want figured out this year.

As for the other things in my bullet form above, they are all pretty self explanatory. I have a lot of things I want to work on this year, and I think I'm already off to a good start. As time goes on and I'm ready to tackle things I'll be writing more. If I wrote it all down now I'd have a nine page wall of text, lol.

I'll end this journal entry by saying that I have put a LOT of thought into every topic listed above and really feel I need to work on them. I hope I don't fail, and if I do I'll try my best to pick myself up and try again. I doubt I will fail as I have a number of wonderful people within my life and I know they'll be there if I need them.

Okay, Time for a con recap! -well, more of a shotout since so much awesome was had that I couldn't possibly write it all down!

MFF was pretty wild this year! I didn't do half as much as I wanted to but it was epic non-the-less! I Roomed with Joeysparkz, Wyngaed, and Tahoe. It was totally awesome hanging out with Yonoa, Mandakatt, Aurafox, Kipper, Keeya, Carson10us, Prowlercat, Arashiin and Graywolf769, (even though I didn't bump into greywolf but only a few times (mostly in suit!) but it was cool none the less to at least chat a little bit! -Infact, he got pictures of me, which can be seem here! http://wulfsige.com/gallery/categories.php?cat_id=38 There are a lot of other people I totally missed, but cons are pretty busy and that happens, unfortunatly :/

Anyway, This year I was introduced to Whipcream Vodka and Cake Vodka. Lemme just stop right there and say that for the first time ever I got a pretty good buzz in suit! -Thanks to Mandakatt for being con-mom and keeping an eye out for me! I really wish I could remember more about it but I really don't. I'm sure Mandakatt could tell you more about my drunken fursuit escapades. From what she said I was pretty good at "poofing" out of site. She had some sort of list going but I can't remember what it all entailed! lol!

I picked up a few things in the dealers den; two shirts, a neat-o-neclace, and a cool raver-chain-led-matrix thingy to wear in the dance! (pictures to come when I have time!) I think next year I'm gonna try to explore getting some art commished from the con (somthing I've actually never done)

Oh hell. I've been hiding out for a while so I guess I'll go ahead and post. *steps out into the light and yawns*

Whats new?
Even though a bunch of time has gone by since my last post not a lot has really happened. Nothing news worthy, anyway. The only thing I really /can\ say is that when it comes to the internet I've been a lazy bastard! I'm not sure what it is, but being connected on the web just isn't the same for me as it use to be. Its too bad because I use to have a lot of fun doing "this, that, and the other" Part of the problem is that I just don't seem to have enough time in my day sometimes. Then other days when I DO have time I feel lazy as hell and enjoy just chilling out and not thinking about anything :P bah.. At any rate I feel a little more refreshed than I was so we'll see how it goes!

Commercials
The commercial I worked on seems to be hitting its peak. I was a little misinformed as to how they were going to run. Looks like the event ends on the 31st of this month, but a lot of what we shot will be continued throughout the spring, just not as heavily. (the are still two spots I haven't seen broadcast yet) Soooo Anyway, I decided to mash up some of the behind the scenes video I have, along with the actual commercial(s) for anyone who might be interested. (under cut) Granted these are just commercials but it was a really fun project to work on and its pretty neat to have work I've done broadcast nationally. -The last one of things I did was an old Dutch commercial. lol.. Not half as exciting :P

Personal stuff
Well, after a lot of tests I've been found to be in great health and have nothing to worry about =) There is no real answer as to what was causing the symptoms I was having a handful of weeks ago now but at least all the serious things have been ruled out. Its been said that if that ever happens again to do exactly what I did, which is go to ER and then right away schedule an appointment with the specialist. beyond that she says my next checkup is in 20 years O_O So yeah.

Truck
Wouldn't it figure that I have my car for 8 years and nobody messes with it. I get my truck and in under half a year someone damages it. The entire front grill somehow got shattered along with the headlight getting slightly messed up as well. Luckily I can fix it myself and its not gonna cost all that much. Knowing this I was fairly content in just being able to deal with it. Until today. Today I found out where this happened. It happened in the back lot of our building. At first I was raging pissed the thought of someone in our building doing this and not saying anything. Then it dawned on me that we have at least two Semi trucks a day go through our lot AND it so happens the plow guy was around as well. Oh well. I didn't see it, the outdoor cameras haven't been recording for months, I just simply have no idea. At least it wasn't major. Still pisses me off though. whoever did it had to know they did. -It wasn't a small hit.

Whats in store for The future?
Well, this weekend is my Aunts Birthday so I'm planing on driving up north to see her and my Mom. Its been quite a while since I've been there so it will be nice to visit and see whats all going on with them.
