Terms of Service

Last updated: 25 March 2026

1. Introduction

These terms apply to all services provided by Wstudio, part of Art and Minds Ltd (Company No. 14908103, England and Wales). By commissioning work, you agree to these terms.

2. Scope of Work

Work is carried out as agreed in writing (email, proposal, or invoice). Any additional work outside the agreed scope will be quoted separately.

3. Payment

  • A non-refundable deposit of 30% is required to begin.
  • The remaining balance is due on completion, unless otherwise agreed.
  • Payment is accepted by bank transfer or Stripe.
  • Late payments may incur interest at 5% every 14 days.

4. Client Responsibilities

You are responsible for providing content (text, images, assets) in a timely manner. Delays in content will delay the project.

5. Ownership

Once the project is fully paid, ownership of the final website (excluding third-party materials) transfers to you. We retain the right to display the work in our portfolio.

If the website is moved away from Wstudio hosting, we reserve the right to enforce attribution and licensing terms relating to design, templates, and code.

6. Attribution

A small credit will appear in the footer:

This credit should remain unless agreed otherwise.
Removal may be subject to a fee of up to 30% of the project value.

7. Hosting and Maintenance

Unless covered by a separate agreement, you are responsible for hosting, updates, and backups after handover. We are not responsible for issues arising after delivery.

8. Third-Party Services

We may use or recommend third-party tools (such as plugins or hosting). You are responsible for maintaining any required licences or subscriptions.

9. Termination

Either party may end the project at any time. You agree to pay for work completed up to that point. The deposit is non-refundable.

10. Liability

We are not liable for loss of data, profits, or business interruption arising from the use of the website. Our liability is limited to the amount paid for the service.

11. Legal

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
