Frequently Asked Questions

Where does your beef come from?

All our beef comes from Western States Ranches, headquartered in Delta County, Colorado, where our cattle graze on irrigated pastures and native rangeland. We use regenerative ranching practices that restore soil health, improve water retention, and support thriving ecosystems that produce flavorful, high-quality beef.

Regenerative ranching focuses on restoring the land by improving soil health, renewing natural cycles, and increasing biodiversity. By managing our land and cattle in harmony with nature, we create a balanced system that sustains the land and produces exceptional beef.

Yes. Our cattle graze on native and irrigated pastures for most of their lives. Our beef is cornfinished by a local farmer to enhance marbling and create a depth of flavor that sets our beef apart.

We never use growth hormones. Antibiotics are only administered if an animal becomes ill and requires treatment. The health and well-being of our cattle, and transparency with our customers, are always our top priorities.

Yes. All of our beef is processed and packaged at a USDA-inspected facility in Colorado,  ensuring the highest standards of food safety, quality and consistency.

Buying direct from Western States Ranches ensures you get premium-quality beef at a great value, while supporting Colorado ranching families, small businesses and local agriculture. You know exactly where your food comes from and how it’s raised.

We do not offer delivery or shipping at this time

We are finalizing Front Range pick-up options in Denver and Boulder. You’ll receive pickup details once your order is ready via email, approximately 4 weeks prior
