How to Register for Expos 20 and Expos Studio 20
Registration for Spring 2026 Expos courses
Registration for spring Expos 20 and Expos Studio 20 is now closed. The Writing Program will begin accepting section change requests during the add/drop period later in January.
Once Expos registration re-opens during those dates, you can access the Expos section change request in my.harvard:
Navigate to Student Home > Documents > Electronic Forms > Expos Section Swap Request.
Please note the following dates for submitting section change requests (the my.harvard form will be open from 12:01 am – 11:59 pm each day):
- Monday, January 12
- Tuesday, January 20
- Monday, January 26
- Tuesday, January 27
On each of those dates, students can submit requests for section changes via the Expos form in my.harvard. We will then process the requests submitted each day and send responses to those requests on the following day. If you need to update the information you submitted, you can enter that information in a new form; we will process only the most recent submission. If you change your mind about wanting to request a change, you must notify us at expos@fas.harvard.edu before we process the request. The Writing Program cannot move you back to your original assignment once we have processed changes.
You may not add or drop an Expos course without submitting a section change request to the Writing Program office. Individual preceptors cannot add you to or drop you from their section, and you cannot add or drop Expos on your own. All requests are submitted through my.harvard in the Expos Section Swap Request form and then must be approved or denied by the Writing Program. We will do our best to grant as many requests as possible, but we cannot guarantee that we will be able to make the change you request.
As of Wednesday, January 28, the add/drop period for Spring 2026 Expos 20/Expos Studio 20 courses will be closed. All sections assignments are final as of that date.
