Why We Offer Critiques<\/h4>

If you\u2019re fairly new to the writing business or trying out a different genre, you may wonder whether or not you\u2019re doing it right. Or maybe you have a manuscript that you feel is almost \u2014 but not quite \u2014 working, and you\u2019re not sure why. What can you do? Get a professional critique, of course!<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n

What to Expect<\/h4>

Two-for-One Critiques are available for the fee of $60, or a discounted fee of $45 for our members! One manuscript will be critiqued independently by two members of our faculty or Planning Team (see page limits at the bottom of this page).<\/p>\n

A critique will give you a thorough review of the strengths and weaknesses of your writing, offer suggestions for improvement, and possibly help you identify potential markets. Focus<\/h2>\n

Instead of focusing on mechanical errors in grammar, spelling, and punctuation, our critiques will focus on the meat of your story. We will point out strengths and weaknesses of the manuscript and make suggestions for improvement. These suggestions may include any of the following:<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n
