Veronica Mars is a noir TV show about a teenage amateur detective in Southern California who works with her PI father, and the mysteries that they solve. Veronica is a spunky young woman who has gone from the popular clique at school to a social pariah, and always has a witty comment to go along with a smile. She's brilliantly smart, but still emotional and heartbreakingly strong. Her best friend's murder is still unsolved, her mother left, her boyfriend dumped her, and yet she still carries on. The series follows Veronica's journey from high school to college over the course of 3 seasons. I essentially put 4 songs per season that each represent her mindset during that time, but the mix should be listened to as a whole.
