A WordPress plugin for developers that add Github follow & star buttons and specific gists to the WordPress website using shortcodes.
Based on the github-buttons library.
How to use it:
1. Download the Widget Shortcodes For Github plugin.
2. Upload the downloaded zip to the WordPress on the Plugins -> Add New page.
3. Or upload the unzipped files to the WordPress’ plugins directory.
4. Enable the plugin and we’re ready to go.
5. Add Github Follow/Star Buttons to the WordPress using the following shortcodes:
- user: Github username
- size: Button size
- show_count: Shows counts.
[Github_User_Button user='jqueryscript' size='large' show_count='true']
[Github_Repo_Button user='jqueryscript' repo='safe-delete' size='large' show_count='true']
6. Fetch and display a gist on the WordPress by wrapping the gist ID in the [Gist] shortcode.
