Elementor Hosting Review + Pricing Guide (2026)

elementor cloud overview

In this post I’ll explain what is Elementor hosting and break down it’s pricing plans. Follow me along.

In June 2022, Elementor launched its new product – Elementor Cloud which was the initial hosted solution for website creation and management.

Update: In March 2023, Elementor Cloud was rebranded to Elementor hosting.

What is Elementor hosting?

Elementor hosting is an integrated solution that includes hosting, Elementor Pro plugin, security, and design features, all included on a pre-installed WordPress website.

elementor hosting overview

So basically, Elementor hosting is an all-in-one hosted solution for those who want to build and launch a website and avoid the technical stuff. Everything is included.

Is it cloud based?

Yes. It is powered by the Google Cloud Platform. Being a hosted solution, Elementor made sure their cloud hosting is based on a robust infrastructure.

So, what does this mean for end-users? Google Cloud is in the top 3 cloud service providers according to Statista, having a 10% market share. Even though it’s behind Amazon AWS and Microsoft Azure, a direct cloud hosting partnership between Google and Elementor looks promising and assuring.

Google-Cloud-presentation

It’s a win-win deal if the think that both companies are willing to increase their market share within their industries.

Difference between Elementor hosting and Elementor plugin

The main difference between these 2 is hosting – Elementor hosting is a hosted solution, while Elementor plugin is a self hosted solution. In simple words, with Elementor hosting you get hosting, with Elementor plugin you don’t get hosting.

Here is a more detailed explanation:

  1. Elementor plugin – you install it on your WordPress website and use it to build or customize your site. You buy your own hosting and install WordPress on it.
  2. Elementor hosting – everything is included in your plan. You get hosting, WordPress and Elementor free plugin and all its features pre-installed.

What’s included with Elementor hosting?

Update 2026: Elementor hosting plans no longer include Elementor Pro plugin, you have to buy a separate license for the website builder.

Here is what you get with the smallest (Host Cloud) plan for $14.99/ month (billed annually):

  • 10 GB storage
  • 10 GB bandwidth
  • SSL certificate
  • Free domain name
  • Cloudflare CDN
  • Automatic daily backups
  • Backups storage for 7 days
  • Integrated caching
  • SFTP access
  • Security (WAF, DDoS protection)
  • Support for 1 user

Update: in January 2025, the team released a highly anticipated feature: file manager.

You can now access your website’s files from your Elementor hosting account and copy, paste, remove, save, archive the files you want. The interface is clean and all the options are self explanatory.

There are 2 ways to access the file manager:

1. Go to Websites – Manage this website and click on Access file manager, located under Hosting tools

Who is it for?

Elementor hosting includes everything that you need to build a website and specifically: hosting, domain, WordPress and a site builder.

It might be a good fit for bloggers, freelancers, website owners and SMBs (small and medium businesses) that need a functional website fast, without going into too many technical details.

It’s a decent option whether they already have a website or want to start from scratch.

Web agencies could also use Elementor hosting for their clients, although it makes more sense to offer web design services using the Elementor Pro plugin, as it has a dedicated agency plan for 1K websites.

You can now transfer websites hosted on Elementor to yourself or to your clients.

The process is easy and the option is available in your account. Just go to Websites – Manage this site – Advanced – Site management – Site transfer and follow the required steps.

Pricing

Elementor hosting starts at $14.99 /month (used to be %2.99 with a promotional offer for new users), billed annually. The new price is not very competitive, even if hosting and a domain name are included (1st year only).

You can build and host multiple websites with Elementor hosting. Every plan has a specific number of websites that you can host, ranging from 1 to 10. All plans are billed annually.

Here is the comparison of existing pricing plans:

There is also an Enterprise plan offering more capabilities, but its price is currently not displayed.

Buying hosting from another provider and the Elementor Pro plugin will probably cost you less (it depends if you get a good introductory price for your hosting plan).

If you don’t need hosting, you can still buy the Elementor Pro plugin separately, which starts at $60 / year for 1 website.

Performance

Speaking of performance, it’s generally good, because the platform is cloud based and optimized specifically for websites using WordPress and Elementor tools.

According to HTTPArchive’s CRuX report, Elementor hosting is among the top providers with sites having a Good Core Web Vital score.

Keep in mind though – you should still follow the best practices to keep your site fast. For example: optimize and resize your images, use a caching plugin, use less scrips and 3rd party tools, etc.

How to get started?

Now that you’re familiar with Elementor hosting, you can give it a try. Here is how to get started:

  1. Buy an Elementor hosting plan
  2. Buy a domain name (optional, you’ll get one for free)
  3. Login to your Elementor account
  4. Click on Create site and the system will create a temporary site for you.

Limitations

Elementor hosting has some limitations, here they are:

  • Can’t change CDN’s

Cloudflare CDN is the only one that comes by default. It’s one of the most widely used CDNs anyway.

  • Incompatible plugins

Elementor hosting is not compatible with a series of WordPress plugins for two reasons: 1. Competition 2. Security

When it comes to competition, plugins like Divi, Beaver, or Brizy are not allowed (but you probably won’t need them anyway).

At the same time, for security, performance and compatibility reasons, Elementor doesn’t allow the use of several other plugins. Here is the full list of prohibited/incompatible plugins.

Renewal

A few weeks before your subscription expires, you get a few email notifications. If you don’t renew, your website will be first archived (after 10 days) and then removed (after 2 months).

Buying or extending a subscription is really easy (as it should be). You just have to login to your Elementor account, go to Billing section and update your payment info or set up auto-renewal.

Is Elementor hosting worth it?

Yes and no. If you want to launch a WordPress powered website which is easy to customize and includes pretty much everything you need to get started, then Elementor hosting is a good choice.

It’s also suitable for those who want to avoid the technical part like setting up hosting, installing WordPress, configuring plugins, etc.

There is one caveat though, the Elementor Pro plugin is no longer included in the hosting plans, and the prices for hosting went up compared to last years.
