I started doing WP websites in 2009 and registered this and a few other WP related domains in 2011, WP itself began as a fork of another CMS in May of 2003. At the time of writing this post WP has been around for 22 years. I have been around for approx 70% of the lifetime of WP, and from what I can see the first 30% was really it getting started and ramping up.

So aside from some of the core contributors, fair play to them. I am claiming the mantle of Ireland’s First WP developer :)
