Worlio is an archivist and enthuasist site for those who enjoy what we call the 'oldnet'. Our goal is to unite and preserve the communities and technologies from this different time in Internet history by giving the tools to do so and share.
This project was started as another resource for a virtual 3D chat service that had been around since the mid 90s. The site serves as another file hoster for virtually streamed worlds created in the client. It wouldn't be long before we expanded.
The philosophy of Worlio is to be as open and free as possible to let users and members expand their own ideas and creativity. The oldnet had a level of freedom that we believe should remain. As such, our rules are fairly relaxed and open, and we encourage personality and creativity across our services.

You can access your file storage from the Community navigation bar, in the top left corner open your user dropdown and click "My Files".
The dashboard will show how much of your storage you have used up. To get more storage, you need to donate to Worlio to upgrade your account.
Yes, the Tor browser will work with Worlio and we make a best effort to support the Tor network when it does not interfere with our uptime, in order to ensure we remain accessible worldwide. However, Javascript is temporarily required to register an account and pass our captcha.
