Founded with a Mission to Secure Critical Systems

World Informatix Cyber Security was founded by Mr. Rakesh Asthana, a seasoned technology and security leader with decades of experience protecting complex, global organizations.

Prior to founding World Informatix, Mr. Asthana held senior leadership positions at the World Bank, including Director of IT, Deputy CIO, and Director of the Office of Information Security. In these roles, he led large-scale technology and security programs, with a focus on strengthening operational resilience and advancing modernization across highly regulated global environments.

In 2016, during the Bangladesh Bank Cyber Heist, Mr. Asthana led the incident response and digital forensic engagement, supporting the central bank’s investigation and recovery efforts. That experience continues to shape the firm’s practical, risk-driven approach to securing financial institutions today.
