About FabLAB Neukölln
The FabLab Neukölln is a collaboration powered by 42berlin and workish.berlin. It’s a maker space, creative workshop, and hardware lab, right here in Neukölln.
The 150sqm FabLab is split into two. A dirt lab with woodworking and metal working equipment, perfect for making dust and loud noises. Across the hall, you’ll find a clean lab equipped with a 3D printer, laser cutter, and textile lab where your electronics or more delicate projects can come to life.
Our space was created to provide fair access to equipment, training, and community for students, experienced makers, and garage inventors alike. What will you come up with?

FAQs
Here are a few of the questions we get asked the most! If you don’t see the answer you’re looking for, please email us at fablab@workish.berlin.
Do you offer day passes or use of the lab for one-off projects?
The short answer — we don’t offer day passes. As FabLab NK is built around community, every member needs a monthly membership to use the lab. It’s also important for safety that members go through onboarding and get to know the machines properly.
The good news is that our membership is just 59€ + VAT per month, and you’re more than welcome to join for a single month if you’d like to complete a project.
Can someone in the lab help produce my object or prototype?
We’ve done it before! It depends on expertise and who’s available. If you have an object you’d like done-for-you, feel free to send your project details along with a timeline, budget, and expectations to fablab@workish.berlin.
I don't know how to use a machine. Do you offer trainings?
You bet! We offer regular Maker Basics sessions in Sewing, Woodworking, 3D Printing & Laser Cutting, and Soldering and Electronics. These workshops are short introductory sessions to help you get familiar with different processes and machines. These sessions are free for members and open to the public for 15€.
I already have experience. Do I have to take the onboarding session?
Yes — our Meet the Machines Onboarding Session is a prerequisite for all members. Not only do you get an introduction to machines, but it’s also an important overview of lab safety, processes, and a chance to review expectations for members.
We host onboarding sessions every second Monday in the evenings. If you can’t find a session that works for you, please email us and we’ll try our best to accommodate you.
Want to host an event?
Do it at FabLab Neukölln. We provide the space, the equipment and the platform that qualified experts need to share their skills with up-and-coming makers.
