The San Diego Regional Policy & Innovation Center (SDRPIC) and the San Diego Workforce Partnership (SDWP) are partnering to provide Older Adult Workforce (OAW) services for older adult job seekers.
Using the proven Individual Placement Support (IPS) model, SDWP offers highly personalized job search assistance with small caseloads to ensure each participant gets the support they need.
Through these services, SDWP provides:

Job readiness workshops tailored for older adults

One-on-one career coaching to guide every step of the job search

Individualized employment and training support to match skills with the right opportunities
Meanwhile, SDRPIC leads research and evaluation to measure success and continuously improve services.
This program is referral based through the San Diego County Career Centers and does not have open applications. All persons interested in the Older Adult Workforce Program must go through the WIOA application process and be referred by a career navigator.
