Let us connect you to eligible wage subsidies to help you with your training costs:
- We facilitate the first 150 hours of subsidized wages for a job-ready candidate at no cost to the employer
- If employment is offered after the first 150 hours and the candidate is deemed eligible for funds from the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA), On-the-Job Training (OJT) funds will reimburse employers up to 50 percent of an employee’s hourly wage for a maximum of 1,040 hours. Candidate eligibility is reviewed by internal San Diego Workforce Partnership teams.

Graduates in human resources earn a certificate from UC San Diego Division of Extended Studies and a Google Career Certificate in project management and are trained in people operations, HR compliance, hiring, employee relations and more.
Graduates in business intelligence earn a certificate from UC San Diego Division of Extended Studies and a Google Career Certificate in data analytics. Graduates learn how to support data-driven organizational decision-making by effectively transforming data into actionable information. They also learn to determine how to improve processes, discover efficiencies, support customers and reduce costs.
Graduates have a comprehensive working knowledge of the complete analytics cycle from determining requirements, to extracting and disseminating information through various visualization techniques. They have a sound understanding of the fundamentals of SQL, Tableau and a programming language such as Python or R-Programming.

Learn about our graduates
Prior to joining the program, Ari worked as a stagehand and wasn’t getting the hours or pay he needed to support his family. His goal was to break into the tech industry and through the program he was able to do just that. He landed a job as a configuration specialist at MedImpact Healthcare, offering him a large salary increase and new career.
Ellie worked in administrative roles but dreamed of becoming a web developer, leading her to enroll in a Front-end development certificate at UC San Diego Division of Extended studies. With 6 months left in her certificate program, she received an offer for to become a content producer at Petco. Ellie was most recently hired by her fellow classmate at Evoke Canale, where she works as a junior front-end developer.
Ernesto Gonzales was working at a job with limited financial growth when he heard about the Workforce Partnership’s Income Share Agreement (ISA) program. He learned how to support data-driven organizational decision-making and maximize the utility of accumulated data. He currently works as an IT associate for San Diego Gas & Electric.
Frank worked in restaurants for most of his career and struggled to break into the IT field with zero experience. After working towards an associate degree in cybersecurity at MiraCosta College and enrolling in CyberHire, he got employed as a Senior Operations Manager at Theoria Technical College where he now conducts IT troubleshooting and updates operating procedures.
Raven heard about CyberHire through a news segment and signed up. Now, he is nearing the end of the desktop technician certificate program through San Diego College of Continuing Education. CyberHire will fund his CompTIA A+ and N+ certifications following program completion. While completing training, he landed an internship with Dispatch Tech and soon after hired as a full-time employee within the company.
Rebecca Beyene is completing the user experience (UX) design certificate through the Workforce Partnership’s Income Share Agreement (ISA) program. With newly gained confidence and a new skillset, she was looking for experience in the field so she enrolled in TechHire.
