I didn’t say it will NOT work with older apps moved to projects. I said it will not work with apps (actually dev accounts) CREATED after July 15, 2022. Version .26 will give you “Your app requires elevated access level to do that” error with newer apps.

If you were approved for a developer account before November 15th, 2021, you were automatically converted to Elevated access. This means that your existing Apps can continue to be used to make requests to standard v1.1, premium v1.1, and enterprise endpoints, and that all of your user Access Tokens are still valid.
If you would like to start using v2 endpoints, you will need to attach an App to a Project and use the credentials from that App when making requests to v2 endpoints.
The only incorrect thing about this note, that it didn’t happen on November 15th, 2021, it happened 4 days ago on July 15th, 2022. Not sure why they moved the timeline but they did.
SNAP .26 and below uses API endpoints from what they call “Elevated access”. It was granted automatically before July 15th, 2022. Since that date, you need to apply for it and wait for approval.
SNAP .27 and later uses v2 API endpoints. They don’t require “Elevated access”, but “you need to attach an App to a Project”
Hope it makes it clear.
We tried to do everything we can with Twitter in our environment and it works fine no matter what we do, so we are out of ideas what to fix.
So until you or anyone else with the same issue let us to take a look at their site we can’t do anything.PS: As we said (right in the plugin’s description), we took almost 2 years break with the plugin support and development. We are sorry for that, but no one was looking at tickets 3 months ago. Plugin is back now, so we can fix your issue if you want.

PS: Downgrading to .26 (or below) will help (we don’t know for how long) with apps that were created before July 15, 2022. Any Twitter app created on or after July 15, 2022 will NOT work with it.

Twitter made a change to its API. Starting from July 15, 2022 every app must be in the Project. Please go to https://developer.twitter.com/en/portal/dashboard and attach your App to a Project. (Create a project if you don’t have one yet). See the link for more details.

Please update plugin to 4.3.29. If you still having troubles please let me know what kind of post are you trying to do (Image, Text, Text with image and/or webpreview).
Another possible problem is broken curl/sslcurl, please do [Test Connections and HTTPS/SSL] from Help/Support tab in the plugin.

Actually it’s not necessary anymore. Facebook changed the rules again, and no review or verification is needed. We will update our plugin and instructions to reflect those changes next week.
Please update your plugin to the latest version 4.3.28. This problem has been fixed there.
