No data in Stats page

Currently this is a local WordPress install on a Ubuntu server that I’m hosting. I have the “Seriously Simple Podcasting” plug-in up and working great. Had to manually copy over the plug-in as it’s not currently accessibly on the internet, Internal teams only at this time. But all is good. I did the same process to install the “seriously Simple Stats” plug-in, and activated it, all went well. However when I went to the stats page I don’t get anything. I have gone to different clients and downloaded some podcast episodes but still nothing shows up. Just “No Stats Yet :)” on the page. Is there anything I’m missing? are there some permission that it might need that I don’t have setup on my local install? Any direction you can provide would be great.
