HTML in Link Notes?

    How do you include HTML in Link Notes? When I try to add <a href=""> links to the Link Notes, the <a href=""> tag is stripped down to just <a>.

    This may change in the next major update to WordPress (currently referred to as 2.1), but for now you can *fix* it by editing default-filters.php (in the wp-includes/ directory) and commenting out or removing the following line:

    add_filter('pre_link_notes', 'wp_filter_kses');

    Source editing notes: Back up any files before you edit them, and comment your changes for future reference.
