Scratchpad is a colorful and illustrative theme for collecting your ideas. It uses a variety of patterns, drawings, and design elements to bring a sense of whimsy and fun to your posts.

Post Formats

Scratchpad supports a number of WordPress’s Post Formats, and styles each in a unique way on the blog, archive, and search pages.

Widgets

Scratchpad has two widget areas: one in the theme’s sidebar, and one in the footer.

Widgets are styled using four different backgrounds, shown below:

Scratchpad has five free color palettes, which can be selected via Customize → Colors & Backgrounds:

Scratchpad‘s responsive design makes it look great on any screen size.

Other Features

Quick Specs (all measurements in pixels)

  1. The main column width is up to 840 wide.
  2. The recommended Featured Image size is at least 970 wide for Image post formats, or at least 840 wide for other post formats.
  3. The Custom Header image should be at least 1000 wide.
  4. The Site Logo displays up 800 wide and 300 high.
