Referral share is a highly recommended feature to increase sharing and participation in your campaign. It allows you to reward users with incentives, such as bonus entries for referring friends. You can also use this feature to create Refer-a-Friend campaigns, encouraging users to invite others and expand your campaign’s reach organically.
Bonus entries are tracked via a unique URL given to a user who has entered your campaign. After they enter, they get the link which they can copy, or they can use the share buttons.

How to enable Referral Share

- From the main menu, click Pages and select the campaign where you want to enable Referral Share.
- In the Create page, find the Referral Share tab located in the right-hand sidebar.
- To activate Referral Share, enter a value greater than zero in the Bonus Entries field. Leaving it empty or set to zero will disable the feature.
Referral Share settings
Bonus entries
By setting a number for bonus entries will enable Referral Share. For example if you set it to reward 5 bonus entries, the user who shared the URL will get 5 bonus entries for every entrant.
Please note that a simple share is not enough. Bonus entries are rewarded only if users click and enter from the shared link.
Limit total bonus entries
You can set a number to limit the total number of bonus entries an entrant can reach. Leave it blank for unlimited bonus entries.
Domain
The default domain for Referral Share link is the woorise.com. Here you can pick a different non-branded short domain.
Leaderboard
The Leaderboard helps create social proof and friendly competition by showing the top participants who have earned the most entries through referrals and other bonus actions. Displaying a leaderboard can motivate users to share more often, climb the rankings, and increase overall campaign engagement.

- Enable – Turn this option on to display the leaderboard in the Referral Share section. When enabled, participants can see the top-ranked users based on total entries earned and view their own position in the rankings.
- Show avatars – Display participant profile images assigned to their email address or generated avatars next to their names on the leaderboard.
- Show entries – Display the total number of entries each participant has earned. This helps users understand rankings and encourages competition by showing how close they are to moving up the leaderboard.
- Name – Choose how participant names are shown on the leaderboard to balance personalization and privacy. Available options include:
- Entry ID – Displays the unique entry number instead of a name.
- First Name – Displays only the participant’s first name.
- First Name + Initial Last – Displays the first name and first letter of the last name (for example, John D.).
- Single Line Text Field – Use any available single line text field from your form, such as Username, Nickname, Team Name, or Custom Display Name.
Share buttons
The share buttons are customizable, so you can pick and choose which buttons you’d like displayed. By default all share buttons are displayed.
The following share buttons are available:

Entries columns
When Referral Share is enabled the following additional columns become available in the Entries tab.
Referrals
The Referrals column shows the number of referred users. The Referrals column is also useful if you want to reward someone for referring the most people or reward those who refer at least X amount of people.
Entries
In the Entries column you can see the total number of entries a participant has. This includes the original entry plus any additional entries earned from referrals and other actions. The higher the number, the greater the chances of winning when picking winners.
Referred by
In the Referred by column you can see the entry/user who referred this entry.
If the columns are not visible please click the gear icon on the right and drag and drop the columns from the left to right to activate them.
