A mystery solved or I really should do more than essential cothes washing from time to time
I have been missing my house keys (not to mention my bike key and parents house key) and my MP3 player Both are inconvienences to have missing but not dire things as least in my life as I dont use the front door. However I have started tidying up my house of late since Jack has gone slowly but sure its getting cleaner. But my keys and mp3 player were still missing . I specifically cleaned the areas that had them in and they weren't there. The last time I had seen either of them they were in separate rooms.
So I have a not date with my first girlfriend tomorrow (shes married with a kid now) I'm looking for stuff to wear... naturally there is nothing good and clean to wear.... in fact there was nothing clean period, but sush. So Im finding my only good casual pants to wash I hear a key tinkle.... could it be my keys? YES! and then I feel something hard in the other pocket yes my MP3 player. Weird as they were nowhere near the last places I had found them. No had I worn these pants since perhaps October?now if only I could find my dark glasses then all would be right with the world.
Sad as I was looking over my pants I was thinking I could use them for costuming for my changeling come winter. The curse of the LARPer is to gauge ever piece of clothing that you own and wonder which character is it good for. Also everytime you go clothes shopping to make sure that the piece of clothing that you purchase is good to wear in public and it be usable by at least one character that you currently of sometime in the not to distant future play
Time travel and traveling through time (not the same thing) have always held a fascination for me, I fnially got to see Deja Vu I hadnt realised it was a time travel story and its got Denzel Washington in it for the win. New Amsterdam (the new tv show) is also about time travel in the fact that he doesnt die and has seen the city (NY) since it was call New Amsterdam. I still squee and I want to see more of it.
This weekend is a non cam weekend so no games ironically as Ive not been to a requiem game in a month (Kal game doesnt count there is no politics) so Im jonsing out for a game but there is no game. So Im at home on a Saturday night trying to do DT for Changeling and washing and drying and domestic stuff it feels odd.
