Rosa is studying population genetics, pollination ecology and phylogeography on Penstemon with wide distributions. She is particularly interested in understand how pollinators drive floral diversity, and explain past and current biogeographical patterns.

Penstemon jamesii (New Mexico).

Penstemon jamesii (New Mexico) – species of Penstemon are visited by a variety of pollinators, including bees, wasps, moths, flies, and hummingbirds.
