APPEARANCE: Jade will be arriving in this outfit.
Jade is, for all intents and purposes, a little girl. She's small, undeveloped, and perhaps even a little dorky. She has long black hair and large green eyes, with even larger glasses frames. She originally had a tendency to dress in shades of blue despite her association with green, with a long sleeved white shirt with a cycling design due to her wardrobifier, and a long jean skirt. Later, once entering SBURB, she received the chance to make more outfits with the alchemizer, and produced a lot more girly clothes then she had worn previous-- the outfit linked above is a good example of such. She is just about the same height of all the rest of her friends, but while she happens to be the oldest, she appears more so to be the youngest compared to them.
PERSONALITY & HOUSE REQUESTS:
First and foremost, Jade is a sweet, kind, and loyal girl. She is devoted to her friends and their success, and would even put her life on the line to protect them (and has, in fact, even died for one of her friends before). This initial description might make you think Gryffindor is the best house for her, but in reality, i think she would be a much better candidate for Hufflepuff.
One of the major descriptions of Hufflepuff house is their just and loyal nature.They are less competitive about things than the other houses, and very modest about their success. And most importantly, Hufflepuff is all about herbology. Jade is a wonderful gardener, having spent the majority of her life hunting and providing for herself. And while being an extremely skilled sharp shooter, shes very much a pacifist, and prefers to coincide with nature. However, since this is a personality section, I will allude further on her gardening abilities later on.
Jade is essentially a big ball of sunshine and happy, and is always there to support and standby her friends. Even if she fails, she fails with grace and understanding-- if that didn't work, she'll simply think of something else that will! She is tremendously kind hearted and sees the good in just about everyone, even those notoriously described as being a pretty big douchebag. As such she is incredibly quick to make friends with others, and always has a smile for those who need it. Also, she is incredibly patient; ever since she was young, she was able to see prophecies and the future from within the clouds of Skaia, a certain important world from their session of SBURB. She spent many, many years crafting and putting together the necessary means to continue the future as it needed to go-- she spent a while bouncing a package back and forth with her 'pen pal' from the future in order to provide John, her friend and also ectobiological brother, a special present that would be delivered exactly when he needed it. She pushed along her friends the way they needed to go as they started the game, supporting and making sure they would go the way they needed to without making any decisions that would split off into a false timeline. Though, even being infinitely patient and kind, there are times when she can lose her temper. Usually this only occurs when she is extremely busy or feeling none too well, which doesn't happen too incredibly often, but she won't be afraid to tell someone off in this sort of situation. She can also be a bit of a klutz and kind of weird, having been raised by a dog on an isolated island her entire life. The klutz part... that's pretty much just Jade, especially considering her rather odd case of narcolepsy. She'll just kind of fall asleep randomly at times, and while it isn't as bad as it used to be (largely because a great deal of it was caused by troll influence), it will still pop up occasionally.
Jade is never afraid to stand up and be brave for her friends, protecting them and fighting monsters head on. She won't attack if they don't provoke an attack first, however; as I previously mentioned, she's a pacifist and doesn't like to harm those who are doing no harm themselves.
Overall, the thrown together traits that define the Hufflepuff house, that of loyalty, dedication, hard work, and patience fits Jade to a T. Of course, however, the qualities of a Gryffindor, bravery, chivalry, daring, and selflessness just as easily applies in on Jades personality. While I would not particularly mind either way, my further expansion on her abilities in the Abilities section will further help explain why she fits more into the category of a Hufflepuff.

POSITION: Student

ABILITIES & POWERS:
Jade is a crackshot with a rifle and other guns. Not that it'll matter much considering she'll be using a wand in this environment, but it at least attests to her good eyesight and concentration.
Secondly, she has the oddest ability to make plants grow and thrive by playing them music. Seriously. It's pretty cool. She absolutely adores gardening and taking care of plants and vegetables, especially pumpkins-- even though they always seem to disappear on her. Also, her associated element happens to be earth, and those creatures who inhabit it. Herbology, of course, will probably end up being her best subject, up to even the most advanced levels. Things such as charms and transfiguration will most likely also be a rather good area of study for her, due to her position of the Witch of Space. While at the current point of the timeline she is taken from her space powers aren't too great, there still is a sense of it about her just as Rose as her light abilities and Dave has his time abilities.
She also has a lot of experience with dreams and future telling, having spent most of her life experiencing them through the clouds of Skaia. Jade will, thusly, most likely have a pretty good knack for divination and the like.

Very flexible

The chestnut wood I chose because it is attracted to those who have great skills in Herbology, taming magical beasts, and natural fliers. This type of wand also tends to change depending on its core and owner, and would become very personalized and special to Jade.
Let me explain why I chose as such for her core! First of all, she was raised by Bec from a young age, and he is a very important part of her life. He is also a First Guardian, and has extraordinary space abilities-- as such, having a primarily space oriented ability set, this will endow her wand with a little more of who she is as a person. Also, it will add a more green tinge to most of her magic, perhaps a bit static looking as well.
If this wouldn't be allowed I would willingly change the core to Unicorn hair, but I feel like a lock of fur from her Guardian and caregiver would be a more personal wand for her.

MISC.:
pets are allowed, correct? I was hoping to have Jade come in with a frog if thats okay! She was pretty much drowning in frogs back in her own timeline, so it would be almost weird if she didnt show up with one or two.

thank you very much for thinking i am a wonderful hero and wanting me to help you with your problems. :) i think wizards are very cool and i am a big fan of your books!! my friend rose sent them to me because she really likes wizards, and they were very fun to read.
but, i have many things to handle with my own friends back home!! we are in a lot of trouble right now you see, and its very important for me to finish what i was doing.

THIRD PERSON:

"Dave, I think he likes you!" Jade exclaimed, plucking a rather forward frog out of the depths of the cool kids hair. Ever since Dave arrived on her planet to help her gather up frogs, she couldn't help but smile ever so much more. It made the cold, snowy ground feel that much warmer, the task feel that much shorter-- and most importantly, it was technically the first time they had ever met.
Of course she already knew what he looked like, and had seen him in the prophecies of her dreams, but they had never quite gotten the chance to see each other face to face yet during their time in the game. It made her heart bubble with warmth, a sort of excitement you could never experience unless you were in a similar situation-- the feeling of meeting your best friend for the first time, someone you've talked to for years and years, yet never had the chance to really be with. Even though they were in a doomed world, destined to fail at their task, it still made her feel wonderful to finally meet those she'd grown to love over all these years.
Shaking her head a little to clear out the distraction, she turned to Dave with a large grin, holding up a particularly plump frog she had caught out of a near by bush. "Look, Dave, it looks just like you!!" She would treasure these moments with her friends, even though the situation remained so dire.
After all, how could they possibly lose if they had each other?
