She's really sick. Kennel cough is getting her waaaaaay down.
I took her to the vet for to obtain some antibiotics, and I got some cough supressant, too
(Neither of which she will eat happily)
But the worst suprise and the biggest dilemma right now:
SHE'S PREGNANT!
Yeah, sick, pregnant, sick, pregnant....
abortion? puppies?
can I even get her an abortion/spayed? (she has to be over the kennel cough first)
from the internet and general extrapolation I think she's about 4ish weeks in
5 to go and she's not eating her food.
Important and unusual fact of the day: at about 25-30days, a vet can feel the puppies (well, fetal lumps, I guess) in the mom's utereus. At approximately the same time dogs can experience something similar to morning sickness including loss of appetite and nausea.
It's good to know we aren't the only species with that problem.
