More dog
I love her, she's great!
Don't tell her, but I kinda resent the fact that she has kennel cough: I can't show her off to everyone! Plus it means I'm stuck at home with her because she cannot stay home when I'm not here.
She's kinda miserable, though, so I'm hoping she'll get better for her sake, too.
She chases the tennis ball, but doesn't believe in the concept of picking it up when she gets there.
I can take her on walks without her leash. She and I both worry on the main road because she's scared of the cars. She's even more scared of the trucks and tends to hide in the bushes when they come by. But the best part about going for walks is that I can walk and she can walk, we aren't walking each other. When she drifts off the road into someone's yard, I let her because she likes to explore. Once I get down the road a little ways I whistle and she comes running up. She always does it with a smile on her face and her tongue lolling out.
Soon, soon, soon, I'll be able to take her out in the woods and just walk and walk and walk places. Also, I'm going to need sunblock; sunshine has its drawbacks.
My dad came home last night and told me that my mom thinks it's bad for Matcha to be sleeping in my room. He said he thought it was fine as long as she isn't peeing and whatnot in there. (Don't tell!) My dad is going to be what keeps my mom from freaking out about all of this.
Matcha's going to make me healthy. I already have an endorphin boost from walking her and a happiness boost from walking her and a contentedness boost from her general existence and inescapable tendency to follow me around like, well like a dog.
I wonder how many languages in the world have "shit eater" as the word for dog...
