Caught Properly
What has anyone got to say but that the sun rose again today?
And it shone bright on my early morning escapades,
And on my walking, talking, skirt-wearing afternoon,
And when I came home I was too tired to carry on, so I slept,
I'm not certain of my dreams, but they haunt me not,
I'm not certain of my self, but here I am again today,
Using my computer to slip away
From life as it's treating me
Into a world of hope, light, and positive day-dreams,
Where ninja-ing under cover of darkness is a practiced art
That gives us the thrills and chills of being bad pranksters
Without the repercussions,
And the more you practice being sneaky,
The better you get at its tricky ways,
Next time we'll remember there are windows on the side of the house too,
Or we'll get caught properly, with P Lady smiling and F-dog being excited,
At us.
"I once had a friend who insisted that I needed to worship my monthly cycle as a natural and beautiful part of nature. I told her she could climb on her damn cycle and ride it off a sodding cliff."
