I gave the rabbit a toy from the set that my father recently purchased for the cats. It's a ball with a bell inside and I strung it up over her cage and sat around to watch until she did something other than glare at me. Eventually she stepped forward and tapped it with her nose, which made it swing and band against the glass, which startled her. She didn't go back into the cower-from-the-giant-human pose, but did go back to mostly just looking at me funny. Ear's up, though, so I had a little happy about that.
