Sick Like a Dog

Back from Vermont, and terribly sick now. This is what I get for visiting the east coast and mingling with all those germs I'm not used to. I'm seriously so sick that I can no longer multitask: I can't sit here and compose sentences while the TV is on because it's too distracting; I can't make a list for groceries that's longer than three items; and to top it all off, I spent the energy to GO to the store and buy food and things and utterly failed to purchase pain killers to tamp down this annoying fever.

Anyway, I'm miserable.
