Science *NERD*

I admit to being a science nerd. It's a comfort when I'm inundated with the stupidity of normal people to think "I understand more than they do." Among other things this has given me an array of inside jokes where the people inside are very very amused and the people outside are... utterly confused. So here, and a few other ones like this and this. The last one I really like is this though it's a DND joke, not a chemistry thing.

I had a good week, though I did poorly on a test I still did better than the average. Basically, everyone did poorly on that test. Emotionally, I'm doing pretty good by the simple expedient of giving myself no time to be emotional. A lie. Sort of. I guess I can have me-time without having emotionally-intense time. Whatever, I'm doing well by some variety of avoidance, denial, and bullheaded determination.
