Forgotten Thing
Me being mad at my brother drowned out a really nice/amusing thing that happened to me when I went shopping on Wednesday.
I was standing in line to check-out and there was the cute white-haired couple behind me, and I smiled when they showed up because that's what I do, smile at people. Anyway, a little bit later the man tapped me on the shoulder and I turned to him and he said "excuse me, little lady, could you smile for us?" Which made me smile because it was funny, absurd, and a teensie bit discomfiting. Anyway, it made them smile and say "you look just like our grand-daughter" which was the sweetest thing anyone has said to me in quite awhile and made me glow all the way home.
Anyway, it's all about smiling.
