Let Us Stick To Simple Statements
1. I made it to class on time
2. I survived class today
3. I had time between class and the ferry which I filled with Costco shopping (a whole different kind of shopping from just about every other kind you can get) and a ferry-line nap
4. Someone cut me off on the ferry. This may not make sense, but it involves going where you're not supposed to when they ferry workers have their backs turned directing the next car (me) to the front of lane 2. Fucker.
5. My dogs had a pretty good day today because they weren't being rained on, which makes them much more polite.
6. I was getting through the gate (after fetching dogs) and it starting hailing on me.
7. I was getting the dogs out of the car at home and it started hailing on me.
7.1 This is what happens when you travel west-to-east at approximately the same speed as the thunderstorm.
8. I arrive at home and my brother has not cleaned the place.
9. I desperately need someone to yell at about this, so I call Kak.
9.1 She is nice and understanding.
10. Kevin calls and apologizes for "not yet cleaning up"
10.1 I have made new phrases for and about him
10.1.1 "My brother wouldn't know what responsibility was if it painted itself blue and danced naked in front of him"
10.1.2 "I'm going to rip you a new one and make sure it's not big enough for you to fit through"
10.2 He's coming home to do what he promised to do before I got home.
